For example (I've just checked), IE 8 is the only browser (the rest are Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome) that cannot display this very useful chart library. Among other things that are common but MS refuses to implement are spiffy new CSS effects and embeddable fonts. The font support alone is like finally coming out of the stone age.
Not that MS is the only one in the "I won't support anything my competitors support" camp. Apple and Google don't support Theora video (which is again a FREE library and easy to integrate).

Indeed, Microsoft Internet Explorer is much behind on css3 support. Not to mention slow. However, it has supported font embedding since version 4!
Not many people used it, however, because it was then proprietary technology (now opened and submitted to W3C recently) and it required a tool to convert the to-be-embedded font in .eot format. Check here for more info:
